Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run
Scott is the only six-time consecutive winner of this most prestigious event and at 25 years of age in 1999, he became the youngest runner to win. Additionally he is the only runner with six total wins and the only non- Californian male with more than one victory. In 2004 he won in course record time competing with the toughest field in the event's history.
